Run automated content reviews

Frontitude is built for automated, low-friction content reviews: you select the exact UX copy you want reviewed, assign a reviewer (even by email), and Frontitude sends a review link automatically, then lets you sync approved edits back to Figma with a click.

Common use cases

  • If you’re a Product designer shipping new UI, then you can send strings to a PM and Content designer for a fast review.
  • If you’re a Product or Content designer polishing onboarding or empty states, then you can loop in Content and Marketing to align on tone and clarity.
  • If you’re a Product or Content designer routing compliance checks, then you can assign Legal or Execs via email to review specific strings and approve them in one place.
  • If you’re an agency producing designs for a client, then you can share a review link with the client stakeholders to approve copy without hopping between docs and comments.

1. Add the content you want reviewed

Our Figma plugin lets you collect text elements into a review list, then send it to reviewers.

  1. First, make sure the design is synced to Frontitude.
  2. Open the Edit tab in the Figma plugin.
  3. Select the relevant texts (you can hold the Shift+Cmd/Ctrl keys for multi-select, or start from a single text selection and build from there).
  4. Add the selection to the Review tab:
    1. For a single text, use the Add to review button.
    2. For multiple texts, use Add to > Review from the bottom action bar.

2. Send it to the reviewer

  1. Once text collection is done, switch to the Review tab.
  2. Insert the reviewer's email, and click Assign.
  3. The content will be grouped into a review list and emailed to the reviewer.

💡 If you want to share a list of texts on other communication channels or with a broader group, you can use the Copy link to selection (link icon) from the Edit tab.

3. Reviewer reviews and approves

When the reviewer opens the link:

  1. They’ll open the link in the email, and view each text in a review list on Frontitude's web app:
  2. They can approve texts or add any comments one by one.
  3. When all assigned texts are approved, Frontitude sends an email back to the inviter, and it’s sent once per review assignment.

The effect: reviewers always know what’s left, you always know when it’s done, and nobody needs to chase updates manually.

4. Sync approved changes back to Figma

Once the reviewer submitted changes:

  1. Return to Figma.
  2. Refresh the Changes tab in the plugin.
  3. Review the proposed edits, then click Sync to update the Figma file.

This is the big efficiency win: you avoid copy-pasting approved text back into designs, and you keep Figma in sync with Frontitude, the source of truth for content.
